SHERMAN'S WAY DVD on sale TODAY!

A heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone who has been so supportive of our little movie over the course of our festival run and theatrical release. Of all the questions I get asked, the most frequent refrain is "When will it be out on DVD?" Well, the answer is: "TODAY!"

"Sherman's Way" is available for purchase from 19 of the Top 20 online DVD retailers, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Best Buy and Blockbuster.

Of course, you can always rent it at Netflix or Hollywood Video.

SHERMAN'S WAY composer David Michael Frank snags Emmy Nom

Congrats to our very own David Michael Frank, composer of SW's score, for his Emmy nomination yesterday. Even in a category where he is competing against the likes of John Williams (STAR WARS, ET, etc.) David's work on the reality series THE MOLE stands out as exceptional.

It's been a busy time for David, as he was also collaborating with King of Pop Michael Jackson on a new symphonic album over the last few months. It's unclear what will happen to the uncompleted project now that Jackson has passed away. You can read more about the MJ/DMF album in THE BALTIMORE SUN.

It's amazing the kinds of emails I get these days. Practically ANYTHING with the name "Sherman" in it gets forwarded to me. One of the more interesting items arrived today from someone in Denmark. I'm not even sure what it's for, but it's kinda cool.

PLAYING AT THE MOS'ART THEATER IN FLORIDA

Boy, it's been a while since I've updated this here blog. Well, it WAS designed to follow our adventures on the festival circuit and, well, since we completed the festival circuit and have since enjoyed a modest theatrical run, I'd been focused on our new film. (You'll have to tune in later to find out more details!)

But I thought I'd pass along the fact that the wonderful new independent cinema in Lake Park, Florida is still playing SHERMAN'S WAY. Be sure to let all your friends in Florida-land about it. They can get more info at Mos'Art Theater's website.

SHERMAN'S WAY TO DEBUT IN NY AND LA NEXT MONTH

Get a load of our new poster! It was designed by our distributor (we've a new trailer too, which we'll post soon!) and they've announced that we'll open in NYC at the Village East Cinemas on March 6, followed by the LA release at the Leammle Monica in Santa Monica on March 13. Mike and I are thrilled it'll be on the big screen in the nation's top 2 markets and hope you'll support us (again!) by coming out in droves to see the film.
